DIATEG PRO - Insulation tester

In addition to standard safety procedures, a diathermy testing device can eliminate any doubts the surgeon may have regarding the insulation layer of electrosurgical instruments.

This device detects damage, porosity, capillary cracks, pinholes and gas pores that impair the effectiveness of insulation and may lead to internal burns.

Testing of these instruments is now mandatory in Switzerland. This directive has been implemented to reduce patient risk and to limit the surgeon’s liability for defective instruments.
